Dose SV406p can fit with astronomy eyepiece without any accessories?

SV406P is one of our hot products. The eyepiece of SV406P 80ED can be taken off, which means you can flexibly change the magnification. But the removable eyepiece goes hand in hand with the problem of eyepiece size. And also, some customers ask us if the SV406P fits all of the 1.25-inch eyepieces. Knowledge comes from practice. So I test them.

Before I test the astronomy eyepiece with SV406P, I want to show you guys these pictures I took by the eyepiece with SV406P. I specially choose the building roof to test the CA. As you can see from these pictures, there is no CA in the center or the edge of the pictures, moreover, the true image with naked eyes is sharp. Without hesitation, SV406P is an excellent scope for spotting.

To contrast easily, I chose the same target to spot. So you can see the difference between them from the pictures.

The astronomy eyepiece I tested:

W9117A  SV154  70degree SWA 15mm  28X

The SV406P can directly work with the SV154. The image is clear whether by eyes or phone.

W9149A  SV190  UF 10mm   43X

This picture is also OK.

F9152C   68 degrees 15mm  28x

With my phone, the image was clear, but it was blurry when I used my eyes. Then I pulled a little out eyepiece the picture was clear and bright. Therefore, we need a 1.25-inch adapter to connect the SV406P and the 68 degrees eyepiece.

The conclusion is SV154 and SV190 can fit with the SV406P  80ED without any accessories, while the 68 degrees 15mm eyepiece needs a 1.25-inch adapter.
