How to solve the problem of SV555 focus backlash issue

Q: I can reach focus, but the backlash is so severe that it would not be usable for motorised focussing with the EAF.

1 Loosen the 4 screws (1) at this position first (you can loosen them but not completely to prevent the screws from being lost), and remove the right swivel joint (2).

2 Remove the 4 screws on the toggle ring and remove the toggle ring.

3 Tighten the two screws on the toggle rod around it

4 Reinstall

Notes:

1 When installing the toggle ring, the screw holes on it must correspond to the small holes and must be completely aligned, otherwise the screws cannot be installed. And pay attention to all the installation screws, use moderate force, and don't tighten them too much!

2 After everything is installed, try to toggle the toggle ring and adjust the tightness of the screws appropriately to make the toggle ring move smoothly

3 Note that the 4 screws pointing to the travel of this ring must be symmetrically distributed. If not, you need to loosen the four screws and switch them to the correct position. Tighten the screws. It's done.
