Test SV406P Spotting Scope with an Astronomical Eyepiece

Recently, many customers have come to ask, what kind of astronomical eyepiece can be used with SV406P Spotting Scope, can Barlow be added, and what is the maximum magnification?

We can draw a conclusion that replacing the 1.25-inch astronomical eyepiece of the SV406P eyepiece could present a clear image. We found that 25mm eyepiece plus 2x Barlow can not present a clear image. But when we remove the extension tube of the Barlow, optical eyepieces with 2x Barlow could show a clear image.

3. Test the product model of SV406P Spotting Scope

SV406P Spotting Scope (SKU: F9355B)；

25 mm Eyepiece (SKU: F9149A)；

10 mm Eyepiece (SKU: W9110A)；

4 mm Eyepiece (SKU: F9158A)；

2x Barlow (SKU: F9146A);

Tripod (SKU: F9140A).

Test object: air-conditioner about 50 meters away.

Test date: November 12, 2020

In conclusion, this test proved that the SV406P spotting scope could be used with 1.25-inch astronomical telescope eyepieces.
