How much do you know about Prime Focus?I made a summary of Prime Focus with reference to AstroPix.Let's learn together.
Prime Focus is the place where the telescope or camera lens directly forms an image on the camera sensor.
In this system, light is directly focused on the film from the telescope objective or camera lens. This is often referred to as "main focus" or direct objective photography.
For fixed-focus photography through a telescope, the camera is directly connected to the telescope. There is no lens on the camera, and there is no eyepiece in the telescope. Telescope replaced camera lens.
This method provides the widest possible field of view, the shortest possible exposure time and moderate magnification. It is usually used for imaging nebulae, galaxies and other large (but dim) deep space objects.
Taking SV503 as an example, two combinations are made.
