Better than the 'Super Plossils' that came with the telescope.
Surprising that an eyepiece that is supposedly just for alignment turned out to be better than the ones that came with my 10" Newtonian. Does the job and I use it for other things as well.
Have to give a should out to SvBony customer support. I dropped the illimitation tube and then stepped on it. When I contacted the company to buy a replacement, they replaced it for free and only had me pay the shipping costs. And they knew that the reason it broke was because I stepped on it and I offered to pay for the replacement.

Works Well and Solidly Built
This eyepiece was just what I needed in order to more accurately align my telescope to the stars when starting an observing session. This is well designed for this purpose, and it gave me excellent results in my first use for this. The illuminated crosshairs nearly eliminate parallax and other visual accuracy issues which occur when centering a star in an eyepiece during alignment.
The wide field of view is helpful when initially looking for the target star. The optics are bright and clear. The crosshair illumination is variable over a very wide range, and gets quite dim at the lower end, so that dimmer stars may be seen. They are also bright enough to use in daylight at the upper end of the range. The crosshairs are narrow and well defined, which helps with precision.
Overall build quality is very good. I am very pleased with this purchase.
Excellent Reticule Eyepiece
This is one of the first eyepieces that I ever bought. Unlike many others, this one I continue to use routinely. It is an excellent value, giving wide field of views and sharp clear images. The adjustable reticule crosshairs are straight and as bright as you want to make them. I think this is an indispensable tool for any visual astronomer or planetary photographer. I highly recommend this high performance reticule eyepiece!
