Good fit- Recommended
Recommended - I got this 6x30mm finder with the Svbony SV550 80mm triplet APO.
It's a nice match to the Sv550 APO , should be a nice match with any other Svbony telescope.
Locks into the finder dovetail/shoe with a thumbscrew, once secured you're ready to go.
After focus & alignment it performed well. The bracket/holder is gloss white with non-marring nylon adjuster screws opposing a spring-loaded chrome pin. I like the black finish/red anodized focus lock ring.
Build quality is as good or better as any other I've used. Svbony products are new to me, but from what I've seen so far their build quality is top notch. I wouldn't hesitate to buy their products again.
Great little finder
I needed a light weight finder for my SV48 that would not overload my SW star adventurer with dslr. I almost went for one of the little plastic ones. So glad I did not. All metal construction and glass lenses. Reat image. Proper job.
