SV550 122 Triplet APO Telescope Set For Astronomical Visual Observation

Having always been interested in astronomy I have owned a couple of low budget telescopes over the years but was unable to see what I wanted with these. I started looking at reviews on the internet, on forums and YouTube and SVBony were looking very good. It was a spur of the moment decision to order the SV 550 122mm visual set and I wondered if i had done the right thing, but I have to say that SVBony are a real pleasure to deal with, they have excellent communication right throughout the ordering process and answered my queries promptly and politely. I used the telescope for the first time last night and it was amazing! This is a really well made instrument and optically superb. I am looking forward to dealing with SVBony again and will order an SV230 eyepiece next. My goal is to venture into astro-photography. Thank you SVBony.

It was one of those spur of the moment decisions to order an SV550 122mm refractor and was unsure if I had done the right thing, but, I have to say that SVBony are a pleasure to deal with and they have excellent communication, right throughout the ordering process. The telescope has exceeded my expectations, I was able to use it last night for the first time and it is a superb instrument, very well made and optically brilliant. I am looking forward to the next time the sky is clear. I will definitely use SVBony again for accessories, next on the list is an SV 230 eyepiece and one day to venture into astro-photography. I don't have much experience with telescopes as I'm fairly new to the hobby, but this scope is fantastic compared to the other few scopes I've used. I bought bundle one for visual, and I am hooked on looking through this refractor. If the weather permits I'm out looking at something even if only for 20 minutes. I can't wait to try imaging in the future!

Finally, the weather has cool enough for me to enjoy setup and imaging. I primarily use my OTA for imaging and it does a great job. Anyone looking for a good telescope will find the 854mm focal length exceptional for viewing or imaging. Do not forget to buy the accessories. You will need them and the prices are pretty good.
