- SV605MC astronomy camera is designed for deep sky photography. It can be used with other attachments for a series of photography activities;
- It can also be used for moon, planet and sun (extra with solar filter) photography;
- The sensor incorporates a 14-bit A/D converter, the 14-bit digital output makes it possible to read out the signals of 9.07M effective pixels at a high speed of 20 FPS;
- Read-out noise is as low as 1.0e which makes sure the highly suitable for high definition, low noise deep space objects imaging.

SV605MC IMX533 Monochrome Cooled Camera -SV227 SHO Filters for Deep Space Astrophotography
Great performance on DSO
I've coupled my new SV605MC camera to an old Nikkor 180 F/2.8 ED telephoto lens.
The performances on deep sky objects are very good. Shooting from the city center where I live, which is very light-polluted, and using an SV227 H-alpha filter, the NGC7000 "North America Nebula" is perfectly pictured.
The additional benefit of using an SV227 narrowband filter, is to suppress some residual chromatic aberration of my telephoto lens, other than erasing the light pollution.
This results in very sharp and detailed images - even if I'm using a relatively short focal length (180 mm).
