I have a humble eyepiece collection, but I have three which are in my use-everyday box; this, the 3-8mm and the 26mm 2". This zoom eyepiece is fantastic to use and I seldom put in my 15mm UWA, which does give a better view at 15mm. Not only is it wider, it's sharper and more contrasty, but still, the zoom is versatile. The 7.2-21.6 has a really good wide field of view when zooming in, but zoomed out it has that "looking through a straw" view. It's not that bad, but at the premium over the 7-21 it would have been nice to have a bit more field of view. It's perfectly sharp in the center of the view, and does have distortion towards the edge, but it doesn't bother me. I would say it's definitely in the Baader zoom league because although it's not as wide, it's definitely as sharp (or sharper if memory serves me well). It's not perfectly parfocal, but close enough. I really don't mind adjusting focus when zooming - I readjust quite often anyway, and it's still much easier than refocusing after swapping eyepieces. Minus a star is for the narrow field of view zoomed out. The 7-21 is spectacular and cheaper, so justifying this one becomes a little more difficult. For me it is still the one I prefer, and it does get some oohs and aahs at the star parties.

I've been pleased with all my svbony products, and this one didn't disappoint. This optic is also sold under other brands like orion. It is all metal and solidly constructed. The optics are great and lovely to look through. Its my new favorite general purpose and planetary eyepiece.

The sv191 7.2-21.6mm zoom eyepiece is exceptional quality and outperforms many zooms that are far more expensive, it has a very nice twist up eye guard and good eye relief the eyepiece feels solid and is easy to use, it has a nice bright clear image and is nearly parfocal when focusing only at its maximum magnification did I need to adjust focus very slightly, great for planetary and lunar observations but I also found it excellent viewing globular star clusters, zooming into M13 the great globular cluster in Hercules was an absolute joy. Svbony never disappoint on quality and service, delivery is always first class and if there's a problem with delivery they get in touch immediately and there products are getting better all the time.

EN: At first glance, it's huge. Solid design, they didn't skimp on the material. You have to get used to its size, but it fits comfortably in your hand. Something is rattling in it, but something is also rattling in the ten times more expensive Hyperion eyepiece. It has a beautiful sharp image. It has a picture as nice as a Lunt or any higher price category. Image distortion is only noticeable at the very edge. In summary, it works perfectly. I didn't regret it and I won't give it to anyone. :) HUN: Első ránézésre hatalmas. Massziv kialakitás, nem spóroltak az anyagon. A méretéhez hozzá kell szokni, de kényelmesen kézre áll. Valami kotyog benne de a tizszer drágább Hyperion okulárban is kotyog valami. Gyönyörű éles képe van. Van olyan szép képe mint egy Luntnak vagy bármely magasabb árkategóriásnak. Képtorzulás csak a legszélén észlelhető. Összegezve, tökéletesen működik. Nem bántam meg és nem adom senkinek. :)
