Important Update on Focusing Issues with the First Batch of SV555 Astronomy Lens

Thank you for your trust and support in the Svbony brand! Since the launch of our first astronomy lens, SV555, it has been embraced by astronomy enthusiasts worldwide, and we are deeply honored.

We have noticed feedback from a few of users stating that when installed using the standard 55mm back focus, the SV555 experiences issues achieving infinity focus (including both manual and EAF focusing). In response, we conducted a thorough investigation of the optical and structural design at once and identified the main reasons as follows:

[The cam groove fixing screws affects the focus stroke, resulting in the back focus distance being less than the standard 55mm.]
(Note: If you are using EAF, please set the step size between 80-100 and the backlash between 28-30; this will help improve the success rate of EAF focusing.)

We sincerely apologize to the affected users and offer the following after-sales policy:

1. We will provide an optimized M48 camera adapter free of charge to customers experiencing focusing issues, which will help alleviate your concerns (the new adapter is 1mm thinner and easy to replace).
2. If you do not wish to accept this solution, we support a no-reason return policy.
